Sunday Yoga: 2 p.m. For adults. Registration required. Join registered yoga teacher Stacey of Branches of Yoga in Sykesville as she teaches you the relaxing and fulfilling practice of yoga. This class is for most levels and beginners are welcome. Please bring your own mat and a blanket if possible. There may be a few extras if you don't have your own.

At the second meeting (12/21, Jan. 25 and Feb. 22) we present the storytime. You must come to both meetings to earn three service learning hours.

Cigar Box Mod Podge: 7 p.m. For adults. Registration required. Using donated cigar boxes, we will create a wonderful treasure chest to hold love notes and special trinkets. All supplies provided.

Mommy & Me Yoga Demo Class: 10 a.m. For ages 3-6. Laurel Brennan is a lifelong student of wellness and a proponent of natural family living. She earned a BA in psychology and a master's degree in occupational therapy. She currently works privately as an occupational therapist and yoga instructor with a keen focus on meaningful and engaging activities to connect people and promote health. The yoga class to be offered for adult and child will introduce some basic child-friendly yoga poses as well as relaxation and partner poses to benefit all involved. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. All attendees need to register.

Creating Your Farmer's Market Stand: 1:30 p.m. For ages 8-12. Ever wondered what it would take to create your own farmer's market stand? Learn about different products that you could sell and what it takes to market those products through a simulated farmer's market. Participants will create their own vendor stand and market their products on a limited budget. This program is a partnership with the University of Maryland Extension Carroll County 4-H Program. Coloring for Adults: 7 p.m. For adults. Coloring is an activity we think of as being only for children. However, it can be beneficial for adults as well. Coloring helps us de-stress because when we focus on a particular activity, we are able to (temporarily) forget our worries. Coloring generates wellness, quietness, and also stimulates brain areas related to motor skills, the senses, and creativity. Materials and relaxing music will be provided.
