The 2014 Taneytown History Museum annual Christmas ornament is now available. The seventh edition ornament features a picture of the old Taneytown Train Station on the front and on reverse reads "Frederick and PA line Railroad Company brought the railroad to Taneytown, July 1871, opening an economic boom. Passenger service ceased in 1948 but freight service continues." The ornament is available for purchase at The Flower Shop, Crouse Ford and New Windsor State Bank and from Sandy Crouse. The cost is $12.
