The South Carroll Stagelighters will be presenting "Around the World in 8 Plays," by Patrick Greene and Jason Pizzarello, at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at South Carroll High School.

This fun, lively show will take the audience through eight different folk tales from all over the globe, as a group of traveling players tries to sell their stories to crowds in Central Park.

This show is certain to be a hit with all ages, according to producer Caitlin Adolph.

The show stars SCHS students Greg Curtis, Marissa Mowers, Elizabeth Larsen, Danny Marken, Emily Sticap, Konner Pavlik, Gillian VanDitta and Jacob Miller.

"This is such a fun show – it's not well-known, but it's well-written and leaves room for plenty of creative input from the cast, which our students are loving. '8 Plays' is definitely a must-see," said Adolph.

Stage manager Molly Klezer said, "This show is random, chaotic, and I love it."

Tickets are $8 at the door and $5 in advance from a Stagelighters member. Visit to purchase tickets online.

Doors will open at 1:15 p.m. for the 2 p.m. show and at 6:15 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

Refreshments will be available for purchase prior to the show and during intermission. Stagelighters apparel will also be available for purchase prior to the show and at intermission.

The school is at 1300 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.
