Dairy-related scholarship offered to Maryland youth

A $5,000 scholarship will be offered to Maryland youth who have or have had a dairy project (any breed) and are enrolled in a four-year college agriculture program.

The scholarship, which is available to second-semester freshmen through rising seniors, is being made available by Gene Lager, a dairy, turkey, and grain farmer and businessman.
