Wednesday
Twos and Threes Together: Hats: 10 a.m. For ages 2-3, with accompanying caregiver. This lively, fast-paced storytime for young children includes books, songs, fingerplays and movement.
Read and Play: 11 a.m. For ages birth-24 months, with accompanying caregiver. Join your little one at a storytime featuring interactive books, rhymes, music and movement, followed by playgroup activities which allow children to practice skills and socialize.
Ghost Walk of Westminster: 6:30 p.m. For ages 10-adults. Register for this event. Join the library for a ghost presentation and stroll through Westminster to visit local ghosts and legends. The walk is about 1.5 miles. Children younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A Celebrating America program.
Thursday

Got Ghosts?: 7 p.m. For ages 12-adults. Join the Maryland Society of Ghost Hunters to discuss the art of paranormal investigation. MSGH is a local, all-volunteer group dedicated to the scientific investigation of reported paranormal activity. Check out some of the equipment, listen to EVPs, and see actual energy bursts — of an organic nature — captured during investigations.
Friday
Baby & Kids' Yoga: 10 and 11 a.m. For ages 2-4. Register for this event. With children as young as four weeks old, caregivers can work with their little ones to practice developmentally appropriate yoga poses. All children should attend with an adult caregiver and dress ready to stretch and move. Only kids need to register.

2nd Annual Halloween Spooktacular: 3 p.m. For ages 7-adults. Take a stroll through the library's haunted rooms from 3 to 8 p.m. A Celebrating America program.

Frights and Delights: Teen Halloween Party: 6-9 p.m. For ages 11-17. Fly in for an evening of fright and teen-only scares. Food, fun and games will also be available. Registration and permission slips are required. See the Information Desk for more details. Only kids need to register.

Facial Exercise: 6:30 p.m. For adults. Register for this event. Master some techniques of facial exercise and improve the muscle tone and skin condition of your face. Individualized recommendations will be given. This workshop consists of three sessions: learning, follow-up and assessment; register once for all three.

PBS World Premiere and Scavenger Hunt: 10 a.m. For ages 2-10. Be the first to see the world premiere episode of a PBS kids show. Then search the Finksburg branch to find new hidden PBS friends. Part of the Quality Digital Media Partnership series with WQED-PBS, LittleeLit.com, and Carroll County Public Library. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
