Registered nurses Elizabeth "Beth" Long, supplemental nursing; and Andrea Groslinger, The Family Birthplace, were presented with Carroll Hospital's February and March DAISY Awards, respectively.
A nurse at the hospital for nearly 30 years, Long was recognized for her expertise, advocacy and concern for a patient on her unit. Groslinger, who has worked at the hospital for close to five years, received the award for her extraordinary care of a patient during her delivery in The Family Birthplace.
Carroll Hospital's DAISY Award honors outstanding health care professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize his or her efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
