Loeffler and Gabeau join Carroll Hospital

Dr. Sara Loeffler, endocrinology, has joined to Carroll Health Group, Carroll Hospital's affiliated multi-specialty practice; and Dr. Darlene Gabeau, radiation oncology, is now part of the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center.

At Carroll Health Group Endocrinology, Loeffler joins Dr. Sunil Gurung in treating patients with endocrine-related conditions. Loeffler earned her medical degree from, and completed her endocrinology, diabetes and nutrition fellowship training at, the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed her residency training at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn., and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Gabeau received her doctorates in medicine and neuroscience from Yale University in New Haven, Conn. She completed her residency training at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program and a translational research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, both in Boston, Mass. Prior to joining the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, she served on the faculty of Brown University in Providence, R.I., focusing on breast and gynecologic cancer and as the director of cancer services for South County Health System in Wakefield, R.I.
