Dr. Tom Zirpoli, Laurence J. Adams Endowed Chair at McDaniel College and President and CEO of Target Community & Educational Services, presented the Laurence J. Adams Community Service Award to Angie Boerner, controller at Koons Toyota of Westminster, at Target's Spring Gala on March 7 at Martin's West. The award is presented annually to an individual or company that has made a significant difference for Target and the community.
Koons Toyota provides support to local programs and services including Carroll Hospice, the Boys & Girls Club, Carroll County senior centers, Carroll Community College and Habitat for Humanity. It also supports Target's Supported Employment Program by providing jobs and work experiences for individuals with disabilities served by Target, contributions, and vehicles to meet Target's transportation needs.
