Harry H. Sr. and Janet Griffith, of Hampstead, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Nov. 7, 2018. They had a two-day stay at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels.
The couple was married Nov. 7, 1953, at Hughes Memorial United Presbyterian Church in Edgemere, with the Rev. Leslie Leese officiating.
Harry Griffith Sr., son of the late Dwight and Matilda Griffith, is retired from the State of Maryland as a fiscal officer; and had served two years during the Korean War. Janet Griffith, daughter of the late Robert and Lula Meibohm, retired from the Carroll County Board of Education as an instructional assistant with 26 years of service.
They are the parents of Corinne Sigai and friend Mike, Harry Griffith Jr. and wife Laurie, and Barry Griffith and wife Denise, all of Hampstead. They have five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
