Internal medicine specialists Dr. Thomas K. Galvin III and Dr. Binu Chacko have joined Carroll Health Group Primary Care. The pair have been caring for community members in their Westminster private practice, Carroll Internal Medicine Associates.
Galvin joins Carroll Health Group with close to 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, and completed his residency at Harbor Hospital also in Baltimore. Affiliated with Carroll Hospital for 29 years, Dr. Galvin previously served as president of the hospital's medical staff and currently serves as chairman of the Carroll ACO and as a board member of the LifeBridge Physician Network. He is a member of the American Society of Internal Medicine and the American Medical Association.
With 27 years of experience, 17 of them affiliated with Carroll Hospital, Dr. Chacko currently serves as vice president of the hospital's medical staff, a member of the Carroll Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and president of MedChi in Carroll County. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Kerala Medical College in India, and completed his internship at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore. In addition, Dr. Chacko is a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Board of Physicians.
Drs. Galvin and Chacko are accepting new patients, providing comprehensive care to adults with acute and chronic conditions. Their office is located in the Billingslea Medical Building, 295 Stoner Ave., Suite 103.
