Local education company receives accreditation

EducationCloset, The Online Institute for Arts Integration and STEAM, based in Westminster, has been awarded accredited provider status by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training. As the largest online provider of arts integration and STEAM professional development in the world, this accreditation now allows EducationCloset to offer certified Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to K-12 educators who wish to advance their teaching careers with cutting edge approaches to teaching and learning.

EducationCloset provides professional development to more than 300,000 online learners around the globe each and every month through an online magazine, courses, conferences and certification programs. As an IACET Accredited Provider, EducationCloset may now issue credentials to learners which highlight their skills and capacities in arts integration and STEAM education.

While EducationCloset will initially issue CEUs through their arts integration certification program, they plan to expand the list of qualified programs in the coming year. These will include their suite of online courses and new programming slated to be offered in early 2020.

To obtain the accreditation, EducationCloset completed an eight-month application process, including a site visit by IACET to the Westminster headquarters location.
