A Manchester man is charged with assault and intoxication-endangering the safety of others for allegedly hitting two people during Friday night.
Joseph Vizcaino III, 60, of the 3000 block of Main St., was being held Monday at the Carroll County Detention Center on $35,000 bond, according to electronic court files.
A Manchester Police officer responded to Vizcaino's residence around 9:30 p.m. Friday for a report of an assault and found two men fighting, according to charging documents.
The officer spoke with a woman who alleged Vizcaino punched her in the face and wrestled her to the ground, according to the documents. A man told police he tried to assist the woman when Vizcaino allegedly shoved and hit him, police reported.
Vizcaino was transported to the detention center's central booking facility for processing, according to the documents.
