Maryland State Police troopers are investigating the second robbery of Eldersburg's Royal Farms in a little over a week.
Troopers received an alarm call from the security company for Royal Farms at about 3 a.m. Monday and responded to the scene, where they learned two masked suspects had stolen money and cigarettes and fled on foot, according to a news release from the state police.
A canvas of the surrounding area failed to locate the suspects, described as black males, one with a thin build and one with a heavy build, according to the release. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Westminster Barrack at 410-386-3000.
The Eldersburg Royal Farms was also robbed in the early morning hours of Memorial Day, according to police. Three black men entered the store at about 4:30 a.m. and demanded money, fleeing with cash and cigarettes.
