Two residents of the 3600 block of Old Hanover Road were arrested after a search of the residence allegedly found 150 grams of suspected crack cocaine, two handguns and drug packing materials.
Trinity Lichelle Quesenberry, 41, of the 3600 block of Old Hanover Road, was charged with possession of a handgun during commission of a drug trafficking crime, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and related charges. Also known as Trinity Williams, she was released on $8,000 bail, according to electronic court records.
Matthew Maurice Smith Jr, 35, who resided both in the 3600 block of Old Hanover Road and the 100 block of Diener Place, Baltimore, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of CDS and additional traffic citations. He was released on $8,000 bail, according to electronic court records.
According to the statement of probable cause, on April 23, a confidential source, who was deemed credible by Carroll County Sheriff’s Office investigators, identified the residence on Old Hanover Road as the residence of a supplier of crack cocaine.
On May 3, deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area and observed a vehicle known to park at the residence leave and begin driving.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop after the vehicle drove on the double yellow line on Md. 97 in Westminster. When a deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Smith, they found his driver’s license to be suspended. A baggie of suspected crack cocaine was visible in plain view to the deputy, according to the statement.
Deputies obtained a warrant and searched the residence on Old Hanover Road. The searchers found large amounts of packing materials for drugs, two federally regulated handguns, 150 grams of suspected crack cocaine and numerous scales and cellphones, according to the statement.
The handguns were located “in close proximity” to the drugs, according to the statement.
A call to the number listed for Quesenberry went straight to a full voicemail box. No attorney was listed her in court records. A preliminary hearing was deferred and a court date is scheduled for July 9.
