A Hampstead woman was charged last week in relation to an alleged assault.
Pamela May Brady, 30, of the 700 block of North Houcksville Road, was charged with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest, according to electronic court records. The arrest stems from an Oct. 5 incident.
Around 8:49 p.m. on Oct. 5, Carroll County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home on Houcksville Road for a call of disorderly conduct, according to charging documents.
There, police allegedly found Brady appearing drunk with blood shot eyes, difficulty standing, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol around her, according to charging documents.
When police asked Brady if she was on probation, she allegedly told them that she was, but that she did not care that she was supposed to abstain from alcohol, according to charging documents.
Brady also allegedly struck a woman at the home and then struggled with police as they attempted to place her under arrest, according to charging documents.
Brady was arrested and taken to Carroll County Central Booking, where she is still being held with $10,000 bond, according to electronic court records.
