A Westminster man was arrested and charged with assault Friday, March 15, after shooting a BB gun at minors from a vehicle, police say.
Nico Pierre Graham, 18, of the unit block of Charles Street, has been charged with two counts each of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment from a car, electronic court records show. Graham was released on a $5,000 bond Saturday, online records show.
Westminster Police responded Friday night near East Green Street to find one of the victims following a vehicle from which he told police people shot him with BBs, according to a police-authored statement of probable cause.
The two victims, a 16-year-old and 17-year-old, were walking near Westminster City Park when a vehicle drove up next to them and Graham fired a BB gun at them from the passenger’s seat, police wrote.
Police say the 16-year-old was struck in the elbow by a discharged BB.
When officers located the vehicle the victims told police the BBs had been fired from on Charles Street near North Court Street, police wrote, they found Graham in the passenger seat with a BB gun between his legs on the floor.
Graham could not be reached Monday at the phone number listed for him in court records. Graham did not have an attorney listed in court records.
