A Westminster man was arrested Friday, June 15, after an alleged fight.

Anthony Doler, 45, of Bond Street in Westminster, was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and two counts of second-degree assault. Bail was originally set at $12,000 before a judge reversed course, ordering Doler be held without bail at a hearing Monday, according to electronic court records.

Officers from the Westminster Police Department responded to Doler’s apartment complex to find Doler striking another man in the face before both men fell to the ground fighting, police wrote in a statement of probable cause.

Police attempted to separate the two men, at which point Doler tackled another man, police said.

Doler resisted arrest, spat and yelled profanities from the back of the police car. He “was abusive and uncooperative during the encounter,” according to the statement of probable cause.

Doler could not be immediately reached Monday, June 18. A court date is scheduled for Aug. 14 at 8:45 a.m. in Carroll County District Court.
