Finksburg man indicted on robbery charges

A Finksburg man is being held without bond on robbery charges that stem from a Dec. 9, 2017, incident.

Scott Eugene Dyer, 48, of the 2200 block of Old Westminster Pike, was indicted March 1 by a grand jury on six counts including robbery, theft between $100 and $1,500, and second-degree assault. He is being held without bail following a Tuesday bail review, according to electronic court records.

The sealed status of the indictment was removed April 2. A warrant was served on Tuesday, according to electronic court records.

Dyer was previously found guilty of theft — less $1,000 value and second-degree assault, and sentenced to five years and six months of jail time on March 21, 2013.
