According to the statement of charges, a $5,000 black and white road bicycle and a $222 Razor electric mountain bike were stolen from an opened garage in the 900 block of Rolling Ridge Drive in Westminster overnight in early November 2018. The victim told police he found an open Gatorade bottle in his yard that matched the Gatorades in his garage.

Carroll school bus driver cited after sideswiping tractor-trailer, police say; no injuries reported

No injuries were reported after a school bus driver on Md. 140 in Westminster attempted to merge into an occupied lane Wednesday morning, causing a sideswipe collision, according to Maryland State Police.

In early March, police were contacted by the victim, who said he saw his bike on the website Craigslist. Police met with the seller, who told the officer he had purchased it from an individual who was not charged in the theft scheme.

An analysis of latent prints on the Gatorade bottle performed by Maryland State Police identified Woolridge; another police officer identified Woolridge as the suspect in two cases, one from October and one from November, according to the statement.

In both cases, there was surveillance footage of Woolridge and one unidentified person rummaging through and taking items from vehicles, the statement said.

Woolridge was arrested March 26, according to court records. He does not have an attorney listed in online court records.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 24.
