Carroll Sheriff's Office investigating burglary at Westminster Antique Mall

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and theft at the Westminster Antique Mall earlier this month.

Deputies were called to the antique mall, located at 433 Hahn Road in Westminster at approximately 4:41 a.m. Nov. 20 after a burglary alarm sounded, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered an open door and, upon entry, found two glass display cabinets had been broken into and numerous pieces of jewelry and coins had been stolen.

A suspect, captured on video surveillance, is described as an approximately 6-foot-tall male, 215 pounds, wearing gray or white pants and jacket, a face mask, white shoes, and carrying a duffel bag, according to police.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Services Section continues to investigate.
