Carroll Hospital Center's cancer program has once again been recognized for its excellence in providing comprehensive, high quality patient-centered care after being re-accredited by The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer with Silver Level commendation.

The program was re-accredited on Dec. 4 following an in-depth survey of the hospital's cancer program, including the new William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, to ensure it met specific guidelines and standards of care. During the evaluation, surveyors toured the hospital and cancer center and evaluated the entire spectrum of cancer services and care activities provided to patients from diagnosis through treatment, recovery and survivorship.
