With trees selling out early this year people have been heading out in droves to Carroll farms to buy their Christmas trees. A listing of farms selling Christmas trees in and around Carroll County can be found at the Carroll County Grown website online at carrollgrown.org/2021-christmas-tree-holiday-greens-guide

With his grandparents, Mike and Annie Bowman of McLean, Va., Patrick Donovan, 10, hauls the Christmas tree they cut at Sewell's Farm in Taneytown Tuesday afternoon. Mike Bowman said that Sewell's was the third tree farm they had visited, the first two having already sold out of self cut trees. Sewell's plans to stay open through December 22.
