A Westminster man is charged with first- and second-degree assault for allegedly threatening a man with a knife during an argument.
Stefano Fredrick Davis, 36, of the 1400 block of Brown Road, was released from the Carroll County Detention Center Saturday after posting $20,000 bond, according to electronic court files.
A deputy from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office responded to Davis' residence around 11 p.m. Friday for a report of an assault and met with the alleged victim, who had cuts on his ear, neck, arms and knees, according to charging documents.
The victim said Davis pushed and hit him then lunged at him with a kitchen knife, according to the documents. Davis said the victim made a derogatory comment and an altercation began.
Davis was taken into custody without incident, according to the documents.
