Firefighters respond to garage fire in Keymar

According to Chief Chad Green of the Union Bridge fire company, units from Carroll and Frederick Counties were dispatched to a multiple garage fire in the 2100 block of Keysville Frederick County Road at 7:23 p.m. Monday evening and found a garage and two small sheds fully involved. Green said no one was injured in the fire and the Office of the State Fire Marshal was on the scene investigating.

Thirty firefighters responded to a garage fire in the 2100 block of Keysville-Frederick County Road in Keymar Monday evening.

According to Chief Chad Green of the Union Bridge fire company, units from Carroll and Frederick Counties were dispatched to the fire at 7:23 p.m. and found a garage and two small sheds fully involved. Green said no one was injured in the fire and the Office of the State Fire Marshal was on the scene investigating.

The fire caused $150,000 in damage to the garage and contents according to a release from the State Fire Marshal. The garage contained a car with an unknown make and model at this time, two motorcycles, an all-terrain vehicle and two lawnmowers, according to the release.
