Robertson, a steward of history, named individual philanthropist of the year

Harold Robertson was named Philanthropist of the year after 45 years of volunteer work, contributing thousands of names to the records of those buried in the county and helping to maintain three local cemeteries in leadership roles on their boards.

Community Foundation legacy altruism award honors 'consummate Rotarian', 'true philanthropist'

Howard E. Koontz III, who died Aug. 17, will be recognized with for his altruistic life at the 13th annual Carroll Community Foundation Philanthropist of the Year event Oct. 17. Koontz, a dedicated member of the Westminster Rotary Club, will be recognized as the Legacy Philanthropist of the Year.

Jordan Costley, Youth Philanthropist of the Year, looks to make everyone 'feel like they’re important'

On Oct. 17, Jordan Costley will be honored in the youth category at the Community Foundation of Carroll County's 13th annual Philanthropists of the Year awards. Nonprofit, individual, family and business award winners will also be recognized at the event.
