A bicyclist sustained minor injuries Wednesday after he was hit by a vehicle while traveling on Md. 140 in Taneytown, according to police.
Sgt. Jason Etzler, of the Taneytown Police Department, said 49-year-old Steven Schug, of Taneytown, was riding west on Md. 140 around 3:30 p.m., when an oncoming vehicle turning left on Roth Avenue hit his bike.
Schug was transported to the Carroll Hospital Center with minor injuries, Etzler said.
Police are investigating the collision and charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
