The concert benefits the Leister's Store Museum, located in the village of Pleasant Valley. The museum is set up like an early 1900s general store and is staffed by volunteers and funded by donations.

"We are trying to preserve our heritage," Leister said. "We take people back to all the things that are no longer here to see. We want to pass on to our children how things were and how we lived."

The museum is open on Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. and by special appointment. "The inventory has tripled from what we started with," said Leister. "It's a labor of love."

Doors open for the concert at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $12 for adults and $6 for ages 6 to 12. Children 5 and younger are free.
