There will be a 30-minute interruption of phone service to the non-emergency phone lines for the Westminster Police Department between 2 and 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, according to a news release from the Police Department.
The 911 phone system will not be affected, according to the release. Members of the community are directed to utilize the 911 phone system to request police service during this period.
The service interruption will last approximately one-half hour and is necessary for phone system maintenance, according to the release.
