Carroll County Farm Museum hosts Therapeutic Recreation Day, offering games, music, food and fun

More than 230 people registered for Therapeutic Recreation Day held Tuesday at the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster. Organized by the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks, the event was an adaptive recreation program designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities, developmental differences or higher support needs. The event featured balloon creations, music and dancing, a corn hole toss and other games, birds of prey and creepy crawler exhibits, snow cones and food vendors.
