Taneytown chamber to host in-person City Council candidates forum April 14

The Taneytown Chamber of Commerce is hosting an in-person forum Wednesday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. for the four candidates running for three City Council positions.

The forum will be held at Activities Building on the Carnival Grounds at 48 Memorial Drive, Taneytown. This event is limited to 90 attendees. Masks are required inside and socially distancing guidelines will be followed for this event.

Those unable to attend may submit questions via email at Biz@Taneytownchamber.org. Bob Miller will serve as moderator for the event. The Taneytown Chamber is organizing event as a nonpartisan community service.

Candidates Barbara Cook, Diane Foster, Judith Fuller and Joseph Vigliotti are expected to participate.

The Community Media Center will stream the event live on cable channels HD-1086, channel 19 and on our website at carrollmediacenter.org. It will also stream live on Facebook and Youtube.
