Westminster initiated an interior attack, and the fire was immediately extinguished, he said.

Significant damage to the structure was observed. The Office of the State Fire Marshal estimates the damage to structure and contents at $65,000, according to a notice of investigation.

Smoke alarms in the residence were present and activated, according to the notice.

No injuries were reported. Family is assisting the displaced occupant.

The incident remains under investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
