A woman was struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening while walking in the parking lot near Food Lion in Westminster, but was not seriously injured, according to police.
The 56-year-old pedestrian was struck by a slow-moving vehicle around 5:59 p.m., according to Westminster police Chief Jeff Spaulding. She was taken to Carroll Hospital for treatment of injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
A police investigation is ongoing.
