You can relive your favorite moments and join in the laughter when the Francis Scott Key High School drama department performs Philip Grecian’s adaptation of “A Christmas Story,” on Friday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, December 1 at 2 p.m. matinee and at 7.
Tickets are $6 for students and senior citizens, $8 for adults.
Skip the maddening crowds at the mall. Come out to get a head start on your holiday shopping when you meander through a variety of crafts, yard sale items and party plans including Tupperware. Choose your favorite baked goods at the bake table. Breakfast sandwiches (egg and sausage) or lunch items are available for purchase. Lunch menu includes fresh fried oyster sandwiches, barbeque, hot dogs, and homemade soups.

Taneytown Museum to host 11th annual Holiday of Trees
The 11th annual Holiday of Trees, Wreaths, and Centerpieces, sponsored by the Taneytown Heritage and Museum Association, will run from Nov. 26 to December 15.
Local businesses, community organizations and individuals decorated trees, wreaths, and/or centerpieces, and donated the items to a silent auction. The community is invited to come by the Taneytown branch of NWSB Bank, a division of ACNB during bank hours to view the displays and vote for a favorite.
Viewing times are during bank hours, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. The voting ends on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m.
Awards will be presented Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11:30 a.m. Raffle prize winners will be drawn immediately following the presentation of awards. Winning bids for the silent auction will be announced at 11:30 a.m. All items must be picked up between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Dec. 15.
