While those who attended the inaugural Music on the Main last year were singing in the rain, everyone is hoping Mother Nature cooperates this year so everyone can dance in the streets. Rain or shine, the second annual event will go on without missing a beat, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7.
Food vendors will have an assortment of edibles including pit beef, ham, and turkey, provided by the New Windsor Fire Company, fried chicken and fried fish, provided by Strawbridge United Methodist Church. Uncle Matty's Eatery will provide beer, wine and homemade chips.
Pepperoni rolls will be available for just $1 at St Paul United Methodist Church along with hot dog platters, apple slices with caramel sauce and more. Sale of the Pepperoni rolls will support Team Kneel's mission to Jamaica by purchasing supplies for the Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf and the Blossom Garden Children's Home.
Meander between booths setup on Main Street. Vendors such as Windsor Alley Print Studio Thirty One and LuLaRoe will have an assortment of goods available for purchase. Live music will be provided throughout the day by the likes of Morning Sky (1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.), Trinidad and Tobago Baltimore Steel Orchestra (2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.), The Josh Christina Band (4 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.), and Henry's Big Sleazy Band (5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
