Spring is a time of renewal and revisiting. Butterfly bushes and milkweed are planted. Lawns are mowed again and again after the rains cause a growing frenzy that will keep up until August, when the lush green will turn a yellow-brown in desperate need of a drink.

A great event to revisit at this time of year is the annual Polish Pottery Bingo at the New Windsor fire company. The Union Bridge Lions Club will be hosting the pottery bingo on Friday, May 17, at the New Windsor fire hall at 101 High St.
