All of the alumni artists of South Carroll High School are invited to participate in the Art Exhibition that will be showcased during the Grand Rededication weekend on March 2 and 3.
The exhibition will be hosted in the auditorium lobby of the school and those interested may drop off their art work at the school on Feb. 9, 10, and 11.
The weekend starts on March 2 with the “Cavaliers Through the Years” musical cabaret, where the alumni who were involved in theater are welcome to join and participate.
Alumni who are interested may obtain information from the Stagelighters Facebook page. The musical will be hosted at the Fine Arts Auditorium stating at 7 p.m., the event is free and everyone in the community is invited.
On March 3, starting at 8 a.m., there will be an information and practice sessions to become part of the alumni band, which will be performing at the rededication. Eveline Shipley, an active member of the 50th Anniversary Committee, is very proud of all the work has been put into each of these events.
“South Carroll High School has been a vital part of the Southern Carroll County community for 50 years. During this anniversary year, friendships have been renewed and school and community spirit have been rekindled,” stated Shipley.

The Linganore Winecellars will be hosting four days of The Days of Wine and Roses, where the attendees will have the opportunity to taste delicious wines accompanied by a delicious selection of chocolate.
