Community Yard Sale
The weather is getting nicer and that means yard sales and flea markets. Why not clean out the shed, basement, etc., to make room for more treasures?
St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church will be hosting a huge Community Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2. There will be household items, small furniture, baby furniture, toys, electronics, wood and paper crafts, additional craft vendors, and more. A bake sale will also be held.
Spots are available for $10 each and are approximately 9x18 feet. Proceeds from the yard sale support the Religious Education Program at the church.
The church is located at 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester. For information, to reserve a spot, email email@example.com.
NESAP is currently in need of popular items for their store including spring jackets for men, women, and children; paperback romance novels, country and classic rock CDs, and yarn (full skeins with original paper wrapper). They are also seeking food for their food pantry including canned meat (no tuna), liquid dish soap and laundry detergent. A local farm, Morfoot Farm, has been occasionally donating fresh eggs so that NESAP can offer them clients, and are seeking empty egg containers to use for the donations.
You can also stop by NESAP if you find yourself with an abundance of plastic and brown paper grocery bags, as they recycle them. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and Friday and Saturday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays; and closed Sundays.
