A New Windsor man is wanted by police after he allegedly shot a 68-year-old man in the face Tuesday in Northeast Baltimore, killing him.

Joseph Masilek, 45, of the 1200 block of Jo Apter Place, was developed as a suspect after the shooting and is now wanted for murder, according to a post on the Baltimore Police Department's Facebook page.

Authorities are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Masilek to call 911, Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP or text a tip to 443-902-4824.

Officers from the Northeast District responded to the 5500 block of Summerfield Ave. for a report of an unresponsive person shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3. There, officers located Robert Breen, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Masilek and Breen knew each other and were involved in a dispute.
