McCurley Magical Christmas Lights is a block in Manchester, Maryland that has put up Christmas lights and joined forces to make something for a drive-through attraction. People can also give donations to local organizations. Santa made an appearance Friday December 18, 2020.

Like many other businesses, Days End Farm Horse Rescue, a Woodbine nonprofit that works to rescue and rehabilitate neglected and abused horses, is finding their way as they continue their important work through the pandemic. While closed to the public, the volunteer-driven organization works closely with animal protection authorities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas and continues to care for and find homes for dozens of horses.
