The Finksburg Planning and Citizens Council (FPACC) will host Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS) Superintendent Steve Lockard at their March general meeting.
As the monthly speaker, Lockard will discuss his vision for the school system after taking on his current role in July 2018 and what he sees as the top issues facing local schools today.
Lockard will also take questions from the audience.
The public is invited to the meeting, which will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at the Finksburg branch of the Carroll County Public Library, 2265 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg.
Registration is not required.
The FPACC is a nonprofit founded with the intention to promote community in Finksburg and “preserve the fundamental quality of life where farms, families, and businesses may coexist in a manner beneficial to all,” according to a news release.
