Don Fair, the spokesman for Lineboro volunteer fire company, said the incident occurred in the woods about a mile off of Main Street in Lineboro. The man, who was stuck under a commercial landscape vehicle after it upset on loose ground on a hill, was conscious after the extrication, he said.
“It was a complicated rescue,” he added.
Fair said the man was being flown to Maryland Shock Trauma, though he did not appear to have any life-threatening injuries.
