Hampstead Police shore up holiday patrols

During shifts throughout the holiday season, Hampstead Police officers will increase their visible presence to deter opportunistic holiday theft.

“While it is a happy time to be with family, friends, to celebrate and give thanks, there is unfortunately the opportunist of society out there waiting to prey upon the unsuspecting shopper and business,” Chief Steve Gossage told members of the department.
