Hampstead to hold virtual town hall; residents can call ahead to give comments

The Town of Hampstead will hold its Town Council meeting virtually in April in order to follow guidelines for social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic, but residents can still watch and give comments.

The meeting will be held April 14 at 7:30 p.m. and will be livestreamed over the town’s official Facebook page, at www.facebook.com/Town-of-Hampstead-Maryland-1426218371004295/. It will also be broadcast on Carroll Media Center Comcast Channel 23 and streamed via the Community Media Center at www.carrollmediacenter.org/live-hampstead-town-council-meeting.

To participate in the meeting, residents should call in comments or questions beforehand to Town Hall at 410-239-7408, by email at hampstead@carr.org, or submitted via the town Facebook page before or during the meeting.

Guidelines for questions require that askers include their name and address.

“Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all try to adopt to new ways of communicating during this difficult time,” the town wrote in a news release.
