The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement will be awarding a total of $150,000 in scholarships to students who are planning to attend or are currently enrolled as full-time students at a college, university or technical school, pursuing a career in agriculture.
The program will award 15 scholarships in 2019, each valued at $10,000. This program is open to high school seniors or students currently enrolled in a two- or four-year educational program. All applicants must be planning to pursue a career in agriculture. This includes students wanting to go into production agriculture, as well as those planning to be educators, veterinarians, engineers, economists, or another profession within the industry. Applicants must reside in MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s five-state territory.
