Author, consultant and and public speaker Amy Goyer will be the featured presenter at a free seminar on caregiving and dementia the evening of Wednesday, May 1.
A presentation of the Carroll County Bureau of Aging and Disabilities in partnership with AARP, “Caregiving through the States of Dementia: The Journey to Resilience,” will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Westminster Senior and Community Center, at 125 Stoner Ave. in Westminster.

Light refreshments will be served at about 5 p.m.
Goyer is the author of “Juggling Life, Work, and Caregiving,” and has been a caregiver most of her adult life. She will share experiences of taking care of her grandmother and father, who had Alzheimer’s disease and what she leaned along the way.
