Work to replace a sewer line at the intersection of North Court and Center streets in Westminster will begin Thursday and could close lanes on both streets.
The work will begin at about 7:30 Thursday morning, according to a Carroll County government news release, and will last at least five business days, if not longer, though all lanes will be open on the weekend.
One or both lanes of North Center Street could be closed at times, according to the release, and there might also be a lane closure on Center Street.
If on-street parking is affected, additional parking may be found in Lot D, across from the Business Employment Resource Center at 224. N. Court St.
This intersection is one of the major paths of accessing county buildings, including the Carroll County Office Building, the Sheriff’s Office, the Board of Education and the courthouses. Traffic control will be present to help guide motorists, according to the release.
