Carroll County’s legislative delegation set for voting session on local bill requests

Carroll County’s legislative delegation is scheduled to hold a voting session Thursday morning on proposed county legislation, according to a news release from State Sen. Justin Ready.

The delegation is set to vote on Carroll-specific bill requests for the 2021 Maryland General Assembly session. The requests include an instant lottery machine for a local Elks Club, public facilities bonds (as requested by the Carroll County Commissioners), Carroll County sheriff’s salary, and a bond initiative from the Carroll County Youth Service Bureau for a request to enclose a porch and allow for mobile services.
