Firefighters responded Tuesday morning to a reported trailer fire just before 5:30 a.m. No injuries were reported following the incident.

The flames originated in the interior of a 1946 Sparker Camper Trailer, located in the 4200 block of Hanover Pike, causing an estimated $8,500 in damage, according to a notice of investigation from the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal.

Approximately 10 firefighters controlled the fire within 20 minutes. The Manchester Volunteer Fire Company was the primary responder, according to the notice.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the fire marshal.
