McBride, author of the National Book Award-winning novel “The Good Lord Bird,” the bestselling American classic “The Color of Water,” the novels “Song Yet Sung” and “Miracle at St. Anna,” as well as the James Brown biography “Kill 'Em and Leave,” will be giving an author talk at 7 p.m. on March 6 in room K100 at CCC.
Tickets are $25 and include a copy of the newly released “Deacon King Kong.” A book signing will follow the author talk. Additional titles will be available for purchase, and sales will benefit Carroll Community College Foundation.
