Big Band Merry Christmas benefit concert coming to Westminster High

The Carroll County Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Glenn Patterson, will perform their 17th annual concert on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Westminster High School.

The variety show is appropriate for all ages and the setlist is filled with holiday songs played by the ensemble.

Access Carroll Integrated Health Care provides medical services to those that need them most, regardless of their financial status. From addiction treatment to dental care, the organization improves patients health from teeth to toes. But they need the public's generosity to do it.

Violinist Bagus Wiswakarma is the featured special guest with additional string and wind players joining the jazz ensemble. The concert will also feature Tammy Black, Marilyn Black, 3rd Generation, D&J’s Dynamite Dance Company, Brad Collins, Herb Sell, Jeff Boone, Gil Rathel and Glenn Patterson.

The concert has benefited Access Carroll Integrated Healthcare since 2009, providing services to Carroll County citizens with limited resources.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Children’s tickets are $7 in advance and $1 at the door.
